Karen Walsh

Hello, My name is Karen Walsh and I work as a Counsellor/Psychotherapist here at the Triskel Centre. I am accredited with the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. I have been working in this area for the past 5 years and have been working here in the Triskel Centre since 2013. I love this work and it is my honour and privilege to meet new people regularly and help them find their own way around any issue/issues that may arise in their lives. From my own personal and professional experience, I really believe it helps to talk and so my business name is Helps to Talk and I am based here at the Triskel Centre, 22 Lenaboy Gardens, Salthill, Galway.

What I do? I provide a calm space, where I can listen with empathy, authenticity and without any judgement to any issue/issues that is causing concern in your life. My intention is to help provide you with the scaffolding to find your own way to the best decision you can make for yourself to deal with your issue/issues and move forward. I practise person centred and client focused approach which means I tailor my work to suit individual clients’ needs.
