Elaine Griffin

Elaine Griffin is a CNM qualified Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist and a Goiz certified Bio-magnetic Pair Therapist who runs Polaris Clinic in Galway City and Westport, Co. Mayo. She set up Polaris Clinic in 2018 after winning her own very long and challenging battle with chronic health conditions, and consequently gave up a very successful career as an artist and lecturer in NCAD, to help others struggling in the same ways.

Elaine suffered with chronic health issues for over 25 years, which began after a severe bout of Epstein Barr Virus at age 18, resulting in multiple hospitalisations and continued right up until age 44. During that time she received many diagnosis to include ME, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia to name a few. In 2013 Elaine was diagnosed with Lyme Disease and tick borne co-infections. Her journey to recovering her health brought her around the globe, to Australia, India, Germany and the USA. Working with many experts and modalities in the fields of chronic illness, both conventional and holistic, has given Elaine an impressive and expansive understanding of treatment options and approaches. In 2016 she discovered Bio-magnetic Pair Therapy and began to recover her health and well-being. By 2018 she was also employing Naturopathic Nutrition to continue her recovery trajectory and now enjoys a full life, free of pain and fatigue. In 2019 Elaine was diagnosed with ADHD.

As a fully qualified Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist Elaine offers a broad range of functional medical testing and has a particular interest in nutrigenomics - the science of how nutrition and genetics interplay and how diet, supplementation and lifestyle choices can effect genetic expression. Uniquely, her work involves an integrative combination of Bio-magnetic Therapy with Naturopathic Nutrition, to deliver comprehensive, individualised protocols that strive to both identify and address the root causes of illness presentations.

Elaine specialises in working with complex, chronic presentations - including Lyme Disease, ME & CFS, Fibromyalgia, Auto-immunity, Mold toxicity and Allergies & Food Intolerances. She also has a specific interest in working with neurodiverse and mental health presentations, to include ADHD, Autism, OCD and Depression & Anxiety.
